Who we are
Florida Service Match (“we”) operates FloridaServiceMatch.com as a referral and matching service. We connect people who need home services with participating service professionals. We do not perform the underlying work. Contact: privacy@floridaservicematch.com.
Information we collect
- Service requests: service needed, ZIP code, description, timing, name, phone, email, and consent.
- Provider applications: company name, contact name, phone, email, website, services, service areas, and licensing or insurance notes you choose to provide.
- Contact messages: name, email, topic, and message.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, and referring URL, if and when analytics tools are enabled.
How we use it
- To review your request or application and respond to you.
- To share service requests with participating service professionals who may contact you about the job.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To meet legal obligations.
How we share it
If you submit a service request, we share the details you provide with participating providers who may handle that job in your area. Those companies receive your name, contact information, and job description so they can reach you. They are separate businesses with their own privacy practices.
We may also use vendors that host the website, process forms, send email, or measure traffic (including Google Analytics, if a measurement ID is configured). We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the site.
Calls, texts, and email
The request form requires an affirmative, unchecked consent that Florida Service Match and participating service providers may contact you about your request by phone, text, or email. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may opt out of further marketing or matching contacts by telling us or the provider, or by using standard unsubscribe or STOP instructions where those apply. Transactional follow-up about a request you submitted may still occur as needed to complete that request.
Cookies and measurement
The site may set cookies needed to run the page. If Google Analytics 4 or Google Search Console verification is later enabled, those tools may collect usage data as described in Google’s documentation. You can control cookies in your browser. We do not currently use advertising pixels on this site.
Retention
We keep request and application records as long as needed to handle the inquiry, operate the matching service, resolve disputes, and meet legal or recordkeeping needs, then delete or de-identify them when they are no longer required.
Your choices
You may ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold, subject to legal limits. Florida residents may also have rights under the Florida Information Protection Act and, if applicable, other state privacy laws. Email privacy@floridaservicematch.com. We will need enough detail to find your records.
Children
The site is for adults seeking home services or business relationships. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date will change, and the revised policy applies to information collected after it is posted.
